Position: Financial and Administrative Services Chief (Internal Title: Vice President and Chief Administrator)

Job Description:
Oversee and help to establish/plan administrative operations within the organization;
Organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of several administrative services;
Oversee all administrative reporting, assessments and valuation activities related to growth and expansion initiatives;
Establish and report progress related to administrative and financial controls;
Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment;
Ensure alignment of corporate processes, consistent independent reporting, and financial accountability of investments to investors;
Liaise with the Jereh Group to ensure consistent compliance with corporate financial reporting methodologies and processes;
Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services;
Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies;
Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services;
Interview, hire and oversee training for staff;
Provide broad direction related to investment opportunities and valuations as well as day to day business operations; and
Build and maximize shareholder value.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration or a related administrative services field is required;
5+ years' experience at a professional level in business administration, finance or administrative services;
5+ years¡¯experience in the oil and gas sector with knowledge of the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil & gas properties;
Strong knowledge of managerial and cost accounting, business reporting, corporate finance and taxation;
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications (AP/AR, budgets, forecasting, payroll) and of Petroleum Production Accounting (PA);
Knowledge of Carbon tax regulations and experience dealing with government;
Knowledge of the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER)'s liability management framework;
Knowledge of oil and gas technologies such as: ValNav, Qbyte, EnergyLink, Petrinex, Petrotranz, Assetbook, ETS, DDS/Onestop;
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access and Power Point (Microsoft Office);
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and process orientation; and
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
